Mr. O’Brien founded and has been the managing member of Promethean (including affiliates and predecessors) since 1994.

​

Mr. O’Brien graduated Bates College in 1991 with a B.A. in Economics and a secondary concentration in Russian Language. Mr. O’Brien served as a Trustee from 2006-16. During such time Mr. O’Brien worked as a member the Investment Committee and Budget & Finance Committee, among others.

​

Prior to founding Promethean, Mr. O’Brien served as a Managing Director and Head of Strategic Planning at Fletcher Asset Management, LLC following serving as a financial analyst within the Paper and Forest Products Group at Salomon Brothers.
